I Can Learn

When I'm on my own, making dinner can sometimes be a little adventurous. Tonight, I decided to go for something a little extravagant and something I've never made myself before - grilled cheese to go with my soup. I nonchalantly asked Ellen, our resident Betty Crocker, for any advice. "Butter on the bread with medium heat and cheese," she said. No problem, Betty. Right as I was putting the buttered bread on the frying pan, Megan glanced up and offered her own suggestion. "I think you're supposed to butter the outside of the bread, not the inside." Thanks, Megan.

Now that's pretty worthless, Gilmore. I'm glad you're learning some life skills. :)

Maybe Mom can mail you some Egg McMuffins and one of your female roommates can warm them up for you while you are lounging on the couch for a 2 p.m. breakfast.
